Terms of Use

The rules, such as they are.

This is the honest version of the agreement you make when you use Mr. Chud, written the way we’d actually explain it to you.

Last updated · August 25, 2026

Summary

  1. 01One account, one log a day
  2. 02Health is never for sale
  3. 03Community board has rules
  4. 04Cancel anytime, in the App Store or the Play Store
01 · The agreement

Creating an account and using Mr. Chud means you accept these terms. If you don’t agree with them, don’t use the app, and if you already have an account, you can delete it at any time from Settings.

You need to be at least 13 to use Mr. Chud.

02 · The service

Mr. Chud is a self-accountability app. You submit one honest daily log describing your day. A log takes a voice note and at least one photo, and you can type alongside them. That is a requirement, not a preference, and the app stops asking for one of them only where your device or our transcription makes it impossible; the privacy policy names those cases exactly. Our AI scores it 0-100, and your Chud avatar changes appearance to reflect the average of your last 14 logged days. Friends in your circle can see your Chud’s state and score, both of the names you typed (your display name and your Chud’s), your streak and level. Because a log carries them, almost every day you log grants their accounts read access to that day’s photo and lets them play that day’s recording back on your card, each for 14 days. They can also open your card and page back through a calendar of the days you have logged, which gives them a date and the score that day earned, with no cut-off, for as long as your account exists. They never see the text of your log, or the reflection you wrote on it. The privacy policy sets out exactly what reaches them, and for how long.

The entire product depends on you actually being honest. There’s no verification, no fact-checking, no lie detector. You get out of it exactly what you put into it.

03 · Your account
  • One account per person. No sharing logins, no farm accounts to game a friend’s leaderboard.
  • One log per day. The system is built around a single daily entry: you can’t log twice to inflate your score, and you can’t retroactively edit a past day. Honesty over optimization.
  • You’re responsible for keeping your account secure and for whatever gets logged under it.
04 · Mr. Chud Prime

Prime is an optional auto-renewing subscription, sold through the App Store or the Play Store: bigger circles, extra art styles, the home-screen widget, and more. The paywall shows a yearly plan beside one shorter plan, and that shorter one is a weekly plan where the store publishes one and a monthly plan otherwise. The plan you are buying, and the period it bills on, are named on the paywall and confirmed by the App Store or the Play Store before you are charged.

  • Plans renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date. Each plan renews for the period it is sold in: a yearly plan renews yearly, a monthly plan renews monthly, a weekly plan renews weekly.
  • New subscribers may get a free trial. Its length, and the price after it, are the ones shown to you on the paywall and confirmed by the App Store or Play Store before you buy; those figures come from the store itself and differ by plan and by country. If you don’t cancel before the trial ends, you’ll be charged for the plan you selected.
  • Cancel anytime in your device’s Subscriptions settings. We don’t have a cancel button on our end, because Apple/Google handle billing.
  • Refunds are handled entirely by the App Store’s (or Play Store’s) own refund policy. We don’t process or guarantee refunds directly.
05 · The not-for-sale clause
This is a real term, not a slogan

We will never sell, boost, gift, or otherwise let you buy your health score or your Chud’s tier. No IAP shortcut to a higher number, no “premium thriving” skip button. Every point Mr. Chud shows is earned by an entry you actually wrote.

If we ever build a feature that violates this, consider these terms broken by us, not you.

06 · Acceptable use
  • Circles are for accountability, not harassment. Don’t use the leaderboard, comments, or someone’s Chud state to bully, shame, or target them.
  • Don’t try to break, scrape, or reverse-engineer the scoring system.
  • Don’t impersonate another person’s Chud or account.

We can suspend or remove accounts that use the app to hurt other people.

07 · Community content

The community board inside the app is public. Everything you post, comment, or vote on there is visible to every other Mr. Chud user, under your display name. Treat it that way. You keep ownership of what you write; you give us permission to display it in the app and on the board.

Don’t post any of this. These are the rules, and they are the ones we enforce when someone reports a post:

  • Harassment, bullying, threats, or hate speech: anything targeting a person or a group.
  • Sexual content, nudity, or anything sexualizing a minor.
  • Graphic violence or gore.
  • Content that encourages self-harm, suicide, or disordered eating. If you’re struggling, section 08 is the honest answer, not the board.
  • Illegal content, including selling drugs, weapons, or stolen goods.
  • Someone else’s private information: no doxxing, no posting private messages, no real names or addresses that aren’t yours.
  • Spam, scams, ads, or repeat posts.
  • Impersonation: of another user, of us, or of anyone else.
How we enforce this

Every post and comment can be reported from inside the app, and every report goes to a human. We review it and take down anything that breaks the rules, and we aim to act within 24 hours. You can also block a user, which hides everything they post from you. We can remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules; repeat offenders lose access to the board, and the worst content costs you the account on the first offence. Removal decisions are ours to make.

08 · Not medical advice

Mr. Chud is an accountability tool, not a doctor, therapist, or medical device. Your health score reflects what you told an AI about your day. It is not a diagnosis, and it isn’t a substitute for professional medical or mental health care.

If you’re struggling, please talk to an actual professional, not a clay avatar.

09 · Limits on our liability

In plain words: we built this to help, but we can’t promise it’ll be perfect, always available, or right about your score every time.

To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect damages, lost data, or bad decisions made because a fictional creature judged you. Our total liability, if any, is capped at whatever you paid us in the past 12 months, which, for most people, is nothing.

10 · Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, where Mr. Chud is operated from. Any dispute gets sorted under Malaysian law.

11 · Changes

We’ll update these terms as the app changes. Payments, store policies, and new features may all shift the details. When we do, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
